Green Smoothie has gained immense popularity for all the detox qualities that it has. A quick and easy way to detox and a tastier one as well.
Every New Year most of us make resolutions to better our health. I have taken it more seriously this time and sticking to a healthier diet. The tastier i make my diet, the longer the chances of sticking to it. Early morning green smoothies are something that i have introduced into my diet. It not only keeps me full but helps in detoxing.
I buy everything i need to put in the green smoothie once a week and make packets and freeze them. This makes my life easier and i am sorted for a week. Every morning i just need to blend it.

For a green smoothie contains mainly 3 parts.
Green base, Liquid base and Sweetner.
I am listing the ingredients under each category. Add 3 kinds of greens + 1 kind of liquid base + 2 kinds of sweetener . Make your own combination and blend it up.
You can add additional ingredients like Chia seeds, Cocoa powder, Cinnamon Powder, Flax seeds, Sunflower seeds, Almonds, Walnuts, Almond Butter or any Nut butter to the Green Smoothie to boost the flavour.
Soak the almonds overnight if you are using them in the smoothie. Soak Chia seeds for a couple of minutes in warm water if you are using that.
In a blender first blend 2 cups of Greens and the sweetener till it is smooth. Then add the liquid base and blend it again.
Do not strain.
Pour yourself a large glass and have it first thing in the morning, carry it to office or have it after working out.
