BANana Chocolate Cake



170gms – Unsalted butter, at room temperature

170gms – Powdered sugar

135gms – Dark chocolate 

280gms – All purpose flour

3 1/2 tsp – Baking powder

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp – Bicarbonate of soda

3 nos – Eggs

2 nos – Bananas, small overripened

2 tbsp – Choco Chips



Grease and line a loaf tin with parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC



Place the butter in a saucepan and set over a low flame till the butter has melted. Add the sugar, giving it a stir. Let the sugar dissolve. Turn off the heat, add the chocolate and give it a good stir till that melts too. 

Beat the eggs and mash the bananas with a fork in a jug.

In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda together, sieving the soda to avoid lumps. Add egg and banana mixture And the chocolate mixture and fold in well. 


Fold in the choco chips and pour this batter into the loaf tin. Sprinkle dome more choco chips on top and bake it for 45mins or till the skewer comes out clean.

        I wanted to know if you take the dark moody pictures in natural day light or with artificial light. Like this chocolate cake pictures. I love the effect of these pics.

      2. Thanks lot dear! I have a nikon d3200. Used that a lot with the basic lens. Thinkin of upgrading mine. Maybe ill buy the model you said now.
        Another thing, do you know of any good online tutorial about learning to use the camera? Its been two years since i started my blog and i have been shooting under the auto mode…..hehe…i know, pathetic ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. How did you learn?
