CORn Soup



1 no – Sweet corn

1 no – Onion, small sized

4 nos – Garlic cloves

1 tsp – Red chilly flakes

1/2 cup – Milk

1 tsp – Freshly ground pepper

1 tbsp – Olive oil

Salt to taste



Peel the corn kernels and boil them in a cup of water with a pinch of salt. Boil it till the corn is cooked and soft.   

In a pan heat the oil, add freshly ground pepper and garlic slices. Let the garlic brown on the edges. Add finely chopped onions to this and saute till the onions soften. Add the boiled corn kernels to this and saute for couple of minutes. Add salt to taste.    

Blend this mixture in a blender using milk to a smooth paste. Get it to the consistency by adding milk or water. Adjust the salt as per your taste.    

Pour them into glasses, garnish it with chilly flakes and some boiled corn kernels.
