LEMongrass Cake

20140611-113946 pm-85186956.jpgThe lemongrass growing in my balcony shouts out to me every single day. I love lemon grass in my tea. I love the smell of this grass. So oriental, so lemony, so fresh. I had always wanted to use it in things other than tea and thai curries. And hence ended up making this cake. Though after baking i could make out lemon grass flavour in it, it wasnt enough for my choice. I would want to try with more of grass next time.

This cake is dedicated to my friend and our chai time…

First two times mix the egg whites well ( lightly ). Third part fold it hently and dont mind if the egg whites dont mix completely.
